Consider Laser Snoring Treatment for a Better Night's Sleep

While snoring might seem harmless, it can actually be a sign of a sleep-related breathing disorder. One of those disorders is called “Obstructive Sleep Apnea.” If you wake up feeling like you didn’t get a wink of sleep, have high blood pressure, are irritable throughout the day, or experience night sweats, you may suffer from this condition. At Family Laser Dental of North Charleston, our experienced family dentist can help you determine if you have sleep apnea, and work with you to find a treatment.
In addition to our laser dental treatments, our office also provides NightLase, an innovative laser snoring treatment. This leading-edge procedure is a non-invasive, simple, and effective way of reducing or eliminating snoring. NightLase works by using laser energy to heat the tissues of the airway causing a tightening effect which helps to keep your airway open. The procedure calls for approximately three short treatments spaced over two months. Each treatment lasts about 20 minutes and requires no anesthesia. The procedure is comfortable, and you can resume your daily routine immediately afterwards. Results are often seen after the first treatment session.
